Mr Lucky Jeyaseelan is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in the foot and ankle. He sees adults with all foot and ankle problems, with particular interests in trauma, arthritis and ankle replacement.

Making a referral

How to refer

Email your referral letter to hello@alignorthopaedics.co.uk, or call the team on 020 8058 2151.
Address it to Mr Lucky Jeyaseelan, Consultant Foot & Ankle Surgeon. Let us know if your patient prefers a particular clinic.
The team contacts your patient to arrange an appointment at the most convenient of his six clinics.

Self-funding patients can also book directly with your letter. Insured patients usually need a referral and an authorisation code from their insurer before their first appointment.

Mr Jeyaseelan treats the full range of adult foot and ankle conditions. Referrals commonly include:

Urgent problems

For acute injuries such as a fracture or a suspected Achilles rupture, please call the team on 020 8058 2151 so your patient can be seen promptly. Open fractures, dislocations, suspected infection or any threat to the circulation should be sent to the nearest emergency department.

Assessment

Consultation and imaging

Your patient has a full history and examination. Imaging is arranged as needed, including weight-bearing X-rays, ultrasound, CT, weight-bearing CT and MRI. Imaging explained for patients.
